Description: Slime skeletons appear as animated humanoid skeletons, but coated in a thick layer of translucent slime. As undead, slime skeletons are silent and cannot be surprised. They can not be affected by poison, sleep or enchantment magic.

In addition to their weapon attack, they will attempt to grasp with their free hand. If successfully slime will travel across to the target’s flesh, slowly growing to cover the body. The slime will do 1 hp of damage each round unless treated with flame, acid, strong alcohol, or other solvent. Treatments of water or attempts to scrape away the slime with wood, metal, etc have no effect.

Melee attacks against slime skeletons rolling a natural “1” get stuck in the slime, doing no damage. The weapon can be freed the next round in place of an attack, but the slime will travel across the stuck weapon unless abandoned.

If the target is killed by slime damage, the slime continues to dissolve the rest of the flesh and the corpse rises as a slime skeleton in one hour.
